33 Truths at Salvation for Every Believer
Key Verse: Ephesians 2:13 · NASB1995
Key Verse
“But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:13Before Christ you were “far off” from God. The distance wasn’t closed gradually by your effort — it was closed at once, by His blood, and it brought you as close to Him as it’s possible to be.

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”
James 4:8 · NASB1995“let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Hebrews 10:22 · NASB1995Ephesians 2:13 says that “now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ” — a finished fact, not a process still underway. James 4:8 shows the ongoing relational side of that nearness: “draw near to God and He will draw near to you” — an invitation you can only accept because the distance is already gone. Hebrews 10:22 describes exactly what that drawing near looks like in practice: coming “with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith,” hearts and bodies already cleansed, with nothing left to prove before you approach.
