About

Why The Gospel Vault Exists

This site started with a simple conviction: that ordinary believers grow when they're given unhurried, scripture-rooted teaching — not shortcuts, not hype, just the Word opened up plainly and applied honestly.

What Shapes This Site

Grace-Centered, Scripture-Rooted

Assurance

Faith Alone in Christ Alone

Salvation is a settled gift received by faith, not a performance to maintain. Everything here is written to help you rest in that assurance rather than chase it.

Clarity

Plain-Language Teaching

Scripture is unpacked in everyday language — short reflections and studies you can actually finish, not academic essays you set aside.

Practice

Built for Everyday Faith

Every devotional and study is written to be lived, not just read — a few quiet minutes that shape the rest of your day.

Doctrine

Statement of Faith

The core doctrines held in common with Christians everywhere, rooted in Scripture alone — read what The Gospel Vault believes.

Outlining has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, in business and in teaching. Research was also central to my work in business, and it has proven just as valuable in preparing new materials and adding to existing ones.

In some cases, material has been drawn from my mentors. One example is Dr. C. Norman Sellers, ThD. In the study of Galatians, for instance, his sermon was transcribed into his outline to serve as a commentary. The study method built around that core is how I was taught to prepare for a study:
