33 Truths at Salvation for Every Believer

Of the Family and Household of God

Key Verse: Ephesians 2:19  ·  NASB1995

Key Verse

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household,”

Ephesians 2:19

You’re not an outsider being tolerated in God’s house. You belong to His actual family, with all the closeness and responsibility that implies.

Also See

“So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household,”

Ephesians 2:19 · NASB1995

“from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,”

Ephesians 3:15 · NASB1995

“So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.”

Galatians 6:10 · NASB1995

Ephesians 2:19 says you are “of God’s household,” and Ephesians 3:15 traces every family, everywhere, back to the same Father “from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.” Galatians 6:10 turns that belonging into practice: doing good especially “to those who are of the household of the faith.”

Reflect

  1. Who in God’s “household” could use you treating them more like family this week?
